BMW GROUP BOUNCES BACK

While a number of companies suffered serious setbacks during the heavy COVID-19 lockdown, BMW Group regrouped and came back strong. The German company reported global sales of 636 606 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce cars for the first quarter (Q1) of 2021.

The BMW brand delivered 560 543 of those, while MINI contributed 74 683 and Rolls-Royce gave a brand record 1 380 units. BMW’s X models (SUVs) were the most popular within the brand, at 246 068 of the total.
