The all-new Volkswagen Golf 8 is officially coming into the public eye very soon. Of course we have already published spy pictures of the car, as well as an almost undisguised model while it was testing. Therefore we know pretty much what the car will look like when it’s finally unveiled. However, so far we have not had a good look at the dashboard. Until now.

Volkswagen has gone quite hard on the Golf 8 by improving the interior to take upscale some more. The main point of attraction is the set of new infotainment screens, one of which is straight ahead of the driver, just behind the steering wheel. The other – a touch screen – sits at the centre and is angled towards the driver. They seem to be joined into a single unit. The steering wheel itself is flat-bottomed and multi-functional.
