In January 2016, BMW SA launched the current 7 Series in the local market. The car has been available in other markets like Europe, since 2015. And so the time has now come for the 7 Series to get a new look, or a facelift as it is commonly known. These pics have been leaked ahead of its official release next week.

Mainly what we see as the difference is the front grille. In typical BMW fashion, it is designed as two “kidneys” surrounded by four headlights. The grille itself appears to be much larger than the current model’s, and in fact, makes the front end look like the new X7’s. The rear has also been redesigned. Inside we expect the faliceft 7 Series to take many X7 elements, including the new iDrive infotainment system, seats, materials and others. As far as engines are concerned, the car should keep the majority of its current powertrains, although it would possibly also gain the new M50d motor that delivers 294kW, as well as a possible M750i with about 390kW.
