2014 WORLD CAR OF THE YEAR FINALISTS NAMED

The finalists for the 2014 World Car of the Year have been announced. The list reads quite nicely, with not many surprises. All the cars have been selected by a jury of 69 motoring journalists from around the world – including South Africa -, and will be whittled down to the top three in time for the Geneva International Motor Show on 4 March.

The winner of the 2014 World Car of the Year will be announced at the 2014 New York International Auto Show in April. At the same time, category winners will also be announced for World Luxury Car, World Performance Car, World Green Car and World Car Design of the Year.
