PORSCHE DELIVERS STERLING FINANCIAL RESULTS
Porsche AG reports a record financial year for 2022. The company which sells luxury sports cars (coupes, sedans and SUVs), appears to grow strongly each year, despite global challenging economic times and industry components supply constraints.
Regardless, for the financial year that ended in December 2022, Porsche has reported the following headline figures:
• Revenue – €37.6 billion (about R732 billion)
• Operating Profit – €6.8 billion (around R132 billion)
• Cars sold – 309 884
“In difficult conditions, we achieved the strongest result in the history of Porsche, by some distance,” says company CEO Oliver Blume. “We were also able to offer our customers exciting new products yet again in 2022. This is the result of a great team performance.”
