When it comes to Audi Sport, it appears the brand is not playing this time around. Just last week we saw the unveiling of the all-new RS 6 Avant. Now the RS Q8 has appeared, albeit under camouflage. RS Q8 is scheduled to arrive in Mzansi in 2021, so it’s still some way off from here. But internationally it will go on sale next year. These pictures show clearly what it looks like.

You should be familiar with the new Q8, even if you have not seen it on the road. This is two steps higher than that, because there is still an SQ8 on its way. So the front end is more aggressive, the wheels are larger and black, and the back end shows those typical big, oval RS exhaust tailpipes.

As for the engine, Audi will use the trusted 4.0-litre twin turbo V8, alongside which will probably be the 48-V electric system. Maximum power is expected to exceed the 430kW mark. Mind you, this is the first-ever RS SUV of this size, and therefore there really is no performance benchmark from within.
