Porsche Centres South Africa has released prices for the new 2014 911 Turbo and Turbo S Cabriolet models. These two thunder cats are now available for the Mzansi public through one of the three Porsche Centres in Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town.

In a previous story we detailed the two cars, giving power and some mechanical details. To summarise, the 911 Turbo Cabriolet produces 383kW and 660Nm of torque and can do 0 – 100km/h in around 3.3 seconds. Turbo S Cabriolet is good for some 412kW and 700Nm, delivering 100km/h in 3.2 seconds. Both cars feature PTM all-wheel-drive (AWD) and 7 speed PDK automatic gearboxes.

For the summer lover, the canvass roof can be opened or dropped in 13 seconds at speeds of up to 50km/h. If you feel like one of these hotshots you need to put in your order as soon as today, because the first units will only be sent out to buyers in February 2014. A deposit of R300 000 should suffice for either car.
