2020 BMW M3 POWER OUTPUT RUMOURED

According to a report by Evo magazine, the all-new BMW M3 will carry a twin turbo, straight-six 3.0-litre engine with quite an impressive amount of power. Not as impressive as its direct rivals, but still quite high for a BMW M car. Traditionally the M Division has not produced the most powerful cars in its class.

This report has two power outputs for the M3 and M3 Competition versions; one of 348kW and the latter seeing about 370kW. Compared to current rivals, these numbers are low, but they are high if you put them side by side with previous-generation M3 models. Additionally with the car expected to carry xDrive all-wheel-drive (AWD) systems, sprint times will invariably fall below the 4 second mark. The new M3 should be shown at an upcoming international motor show this year, and go on sale in Mzansi in 2020.
